Holly lijkt het allemaal te hebben: twee kinderen, een mooi huis, een goede baan als leraar en een man met een goede carrière. Maar toch zijn er verontrustende tekenen dat niet alles in orde is. De slapeloosheid, de medicatie, de muis… Holly drijft steeds verder af in een psychische rollercoaster waar haar omgeving maar weinig begrip voor lijkt te tonen...
